Peer Support Coordinator for Parents of Children Under 3 years of age

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Peer Support Coordinator to join our perinatal and adult mental health peer support service, specifically supporting parents of children under three.
In this role, you will hold a caseload and coordinate a team of peer volunteers with lived experience of parenting young children. You will provide training, supervision, and guidance to ensure the safe delivery of high-quality support services. Your work will involve creating a welcoming environment for parents to share experiences and access the help they need, while also working closely with local services to signpost parents to relevant resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and lead peer support groups for parents of children under three.
- Supervise and support a team of peer volunteers, providing training and guidance.
- Foster a safe, non-judgmental space for parents to share and receive support.
- Work collaboratively with local services to signpost parents to relevant resources.

We are looking for someone who:
- Is a strong communicator, with experience in group facilitation or community support.
- Has a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to supporting parents.
- Can work independently and as part of a team to develop and deliver support programs.
